Gillett speaks widely in North America and Europe on leadership strategies for creating sustainable competitive advantage in knowledge-based and relationship-based companies through the principles of Noble Enterprise, which tap the full range of human talent and spirit. He also designs and leads executive development seminars on Noble Leadership for business schools, associations, and individual companies.
He has published numerous articles and booklets on business and leadership and is a contributing author to the 2004 book Create the Business Breakthrough You Want: Secrets and Strategies from the World’s Greatest Mentors.
Gillett is founder and president of Noble Business Solutions, which helps clients revitalize their companies’ growth and profitability. As a business strategist, corporate futurist, and leadership coach, he consults with business owners and corporate executives and their teams on strategies for achieving sustainable breakthrough performance. His corporate clients have included large multinational companies such as Bose, Dixie Northern (Georgia Pacific), Pfizer, Reader’s Digest, St Joe Minerals, Union Camp (now part of International Paper), and Union Carbide (now part of Dow). Privately held clients include firms in high tech and professional services, including law, engineering, construction management, architecture, real estate, and high-end software.
Gillett holds a BA in economics from Yale University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. He serves on several business and nonprofit boards and has lectured at several graduate-level business schools, including Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business, Washington University’s Olin Business School, and Fordham University’s Graduate School of Business.
Gillett lives on the coast of Maine with his wife, where he enjoys the region’s shore, lakes and mountains and from which he draws inspiration for writing about business leadership and providing consulting advice and coaching support to his clients.
