NON-PROFIT SUPPORT

As an extension of our publishing mission, we also support non-profit organizations that help improve quality of life. We do so by publishing books whose proceeds will benefit their cause, while highlighting their organization's work. We intend to keep supporting these and other charitable organizations. We welcome your suggestions for charitable organizations that could benefit from our support. We are pleased to support the following non-profit organizations:

1% for the Planet
1% for the Planet is a growing global movement of over 1,000 companies that donate 1% of their sales to a network of nearly 3,000 environmental organizations worldwide. 1% for the Planet exists to build and support an alliance of businesses financially committed to creating a healthy planet. Cosimo is a proud member of 1% for the Planet.

Aid for Traumatized Children Project
The Aid for Traumatized children project works exclusively with the children of Iraq, providing therapeutic toys, soft stuffed animals, and other tools for recovering from the trauma of war. A portion of the proceeds A Dream Come True benefits this organization.

Housing Works
Housing Works is a healing community of people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS, whose mission is to end the dual crises of homelessness and AIDS.

Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS)
The Institute of Noetic Sciences is a nonprofit research, education, and membership organization whose mission is supporting individual and collective transformation through consciousness research, educational outreach, and engaging a global learning community in the realization of our human potential. A portion of the proceeds of Psychic Exploration benefits the organization.

International House
The mission of International House is to enable its members from around the world to live and learn together in a diverse residential community that builds life-long qualities of leadership, respect and friendship. A portion of the proceeds from We're Global Citizens: Conversations with Tomorrow's Leaders benefits this organization.

The Netherland-America Foundation
Founded in 1921, the NAF is the leading bilateral foundation initiating and supporting high-impact exchange between the Netherlands and the United States.

ProLiteracy Worldwide
ProLiteracy Worldwide works throughout the U.S. and in 62 developing countries to sponsor educational programs and services designed to improve literacy

Small Planet Fund
The Small Planet Fund, founded in 2002, supports grassroots democracy movements worldwide addressing the causes of hunger and poverty.

United Way of New York City
For more than 70 years, United Way of New York City has been working for low-income New Yorkers. It envisions a city in which all New Yorkers are able to achieve income stability, educational success, and good health.
